The space of FHC 2018 sets a new record,
continuing to expand to 180,000 square meters in 2019
The 22nd International Exhibition for Food, Drink, Hospitality, Foodservice, Bakery and Retail Industries (FHC China 2018) will take place again at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) China. Combined with ProWine China 2018 (Shanghai’s International Wine and Spirits Trade Fair), SFE2018 (the 29th Shanghai International Franchise Exhibition) and iFresh2018 (the 11th Asian Fruit and Vegetable Industry Expo). The exhibition will break all previous records - reaching a staggering 120,000 square meters this year. It will attract more than 3000 companies to join the exhibition at home and abroad, including overseas exhibitors over half. The exhibits on display come from 40 countries including Europe, America, Asia and more than 20 provinces including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and so on. FHC 2018 will welcome more than 90,000 visitors are expected to attend - including the regions leading importers, distributors, retailers, catering companies, online retails and hotel restaurants. This show provides a banquet of import food and wine for mess trade visitors.

In this year opening ceremony, the organizers invites Mr. Hans-Joachim Fuchtel, Parliament State Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany, Ms. Han Ming, Chairman of the China Hotel Association, Mr. Wu Weiquan, Honorary Chairman of All China Bakery Association, Ms. Wang Huimin, Chairman of Shanghai Restaurant Cuisine Association, and the Leader of the Organizing Unit to address. The organizers also invited the leaders of the Shanghai Commercial Commission, the Tourism Bureau and some embassies and consulates to ribbon. FHC 2018 has attracted more than 30 regional and National pavilions - the largest being Turkey, occupying over 850 square meters offering unique national food products including olive oil, snacks, nuts and more. The next biggest pavilions are from Canada, USA, Germany, Italy and Spain respectively. FHC also includes participation from individual companies including many leading brands and food traders such as Mission Foods (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Mccain Foods Limited China, Guangzhou Guanyi Import&Export Trading Co., Ltd., Comfortly Food (Qingdao) Co., Ltd., Lamb Weston (Shanghai) Commercial Company Limited,Bester Food Co. Ltd., Namchow Food Group (Shanghai) Co., Ltd,Shanghai McCormick Foods Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Tomtao International Trading Co., Ltd., Lactogal (Portugal), Lopidolite (Israel) and many more. All companies will showcase quality imported products including hospitality equipment; snacks; nuts; spices; canned and fresh foods; coffee beans and machines; dairy products; beverages; confectionary; jams; pasta; meat & seafoods; frozen foods; chocolate and much more.
The consistent purpose of an exhibition is many exhibitions. Events at FHC are designed to attract targeted trade buyers and are a huge feature at the exhibition. The 20th FHC Culinary Arts Competition, endorsed by WACS (World Association of Chefs Societies) will include a record 600 chefs who will be judged by more than 110 WACS endorsed chefs. The All China Bakery Association Congress where over 1,000 delegates including manufacturers of bakery products and ingredients, importers and distributors attend to discuss latest trends and developments on 13 -14 November. The World Coffee Event will be launched this year. The brewing contest and coffee flower-pulling contest, as well as the flower-pulling contest sponsored by Coffee, Tea and Ice Cream magazine (Shanghai Division) will be held with the exhibition. There will be the 2nd Best of Mondial du Pain and the Fashion Drinks Competition in the place. This year, the new Dairy conference and Olive Oil Summit will light the exhibition. Fresh Marketplace Fresh Forum and Business matching will provide new business trend to professional people. At the same time, Sea fish forum from MSC, Food forum from Shanghai cooking association, fast cancellation forum and the conference of exhibitors provides industry dynamic information to industry insiders. For the wine and spirits community and taking place in neighbouring halls a “World of Wine and Spirits” awaits trade visitors at the ProWine China 2018, including a variety of wine seminars, master classes and the popular ProWine Champagne Lounge.
The pre-registered number has exceeded 40000 till last week which broke all previous record. The food importers, distributors, distributors, retailers and online suppliers from the industry will join to celebrate with global cuisine from all over the world in the three days of the exhibition.
